On the last friday of every month Hamilton puts on an event called College Friday. It rewards students who have behaved, turned in their work, and has been doing their job overall. College Friday gives students a time to relax and have fun during school. If students aren't rewarded for their hard work and dedication, they might stop caring about their grades. College Friday encourages kids to do well in class so they can make it in. Students who don't meet the requirements go to study hall while the other students are having fun.
The way to make it into College Friday is to earn college credits. We earn college credit by turning in homework, behaving in class, and being prepared. We are only able to lose a total of about 10 college credits in order to make it into college friday. "College Friday was really fun, I liked the different and unique activities", says Noah Pace. Dominic Gelardi says," It was really cool and awesome, I had a lot of fun". Students really enjoy College Friday so it is a good incentive for them to do well in their classes.
